Banjo Signal

Banjo Signal airs on KUAC/FM 89.9 Fairbanks every second Wednesday (new time!) at 8pm. Banjo Signal features traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. The show began in October, 1990 and has been very well received. It is now broadcast in many towns around the state including Valdez, Talkeetna, Circle, Central, Circle Hot Springs, Galena, Fort Yukon, McCarthy, Glennallen, Eagle, and the surrounding Fairbanks area. The Fairbanks Folk Fest sponsors a winter and summer music festival weekend, as well as other folk music events during the course of the year.
